When we first walked into the festival, there was Max, a beautiful, big, black horse. Atticus was leary of Max at first. However after a little encouragement, he tentatively reached out and started to pet him. His face lit up at how soft Max felt. Then we kept walking and saw Rain, another horse. We didn't get any pictures of Atticus petting Rain, but she was even softer than Max. He thought it was pretty cool. We kept walking and Atticus got to see some turkeys, baby goats, and even got to pet a baby pig.
As we left, we had to walk past Max again. As soon as Atty saw him he squealed and laughed and we had to go pet Max again to say goodbye.
Today we took a quick trip to the park. It was so much fun. Because Ron went with us, we were able to do so much more than we can when we go alone!
He went down "Atticus-sized" slides all by himself
A tunnel slide...it started out ok, but got pretty fast, Atticus didn't like that as much
Even went down one of the big kid slides with Mom
Crawled through tunnels...well, crawled into the tunnel then decided it wasn't a good idea and scooted right back out
Played on the swing
Teeter-tottered, and finally just spent some time playing in the mulch.

SUCH cute pictures!!! I love the ones of him on the slide. :) Too bad we aren't closer, it would be so fun to take the boys to the park together!
I love that deer-in-the-headlights look he's sporting when he's on the slides. Those are priceless!!
