Such a big boy!

Well, the last couple of weeks have been LONG! Atticus caught a cold right before Easter, and by the Monday after Easter was not acting like himself at all. All weekend he was very high-maintenance, wouldn't take a bottle, wanted to be held.... Then on Monday morning, Ron called me at work and said that it took him 45 minutes to drink his bottle. Now, any of you who might have given Atticus a bottle at one time or another know that he does NOT take this long to drink a bottle. This is the guy that gets mad if you even think you should burp him in the middle of a bottle....45 minutes? Something's not right. So I called the doctor and they got us in that afternoon. Our poor little guy had a double ear infection! 10 days of antibiotics later, he was back to himself and ready to head back to the doctor for his 4 month shots!

Shot day....Atticus was a trooper again! He weighed 16lbs 6 oz (80th percentile) and was 26 inches long (90th percentile). So he is on his way to being our tall little guy! Then we talked about starting solid foods. I can't believe our little guy is getting so big already! Yesterday we tried cereal for the first time, he LOVED it! Here are some pics...
